Is it true that the adjustment of the Jewell trigger is where you can move the weight adj. on the trigger without having to worry about the other two adjustments. I have a Jewell in a 700 varmint that came set at one lb.
have uses it on bench type shooting. Would like to up the weight. I have read the full adjustment procedure and in the last step it says turn screw in for more pull force and out for less with no indication to readjust any other adjustments while staying with in limits of weight spring chosen. this just seems to easy as looks like I will only have to adj. the screw on the trigger.

That's the ticket. In for heavier, out for lighter. Try a half-turn, and go from there.

Sometimes stuff really is just that easy.
