Jewell Trigger Problem

I need help -I love Arnolds triggers, but last summer after dumping a load of powder into my trigger I found that after cleaning I could not turn the adjusting screws. After examining the trigger at home I found somehow the inside of the 1 and 2 screws were wallowed out so the hex wrench had no purchase. Does Arnold repair this trigger? Would he send replacement screws? Does anyone have a trigger for sale? This trigger is on my Kodiak Hunter gun. All suggestions would be appreciated. I have cleaned and readjusted these triggers without problems, but this was a used gun and I had not touched the trigger prior to this problem. This was not caused by a problem with the trigger but by probably by using a hex wrench improperly.

Send it back

Yes, give them a call.

I have 4 Jewell triggers that I have done the JN-(jack Neary Furniture job) ajustment on. I lost the spring on one and called Jewell. While I had them on the phone, I got extra screws, springs, and spacers so I could have them on hand in the future. They werent free but I didn't mind spending the small amount of money to have a surplus, plus I have helped fellow shooters when their BR guns have gone down due to a trigger problem. If you call down there and get the adjustment screws, I would get an extra spring or 2 while your at it. I don't have ajustment screws or I would send some to you if for some reason you weren't able to get ahold of the guys at Jewell. I'm sure they can fix you up.
