Where was everyone? We only had six shooters and three of those were brand new shooters. The weather was great with only a warm tail wind. Lewis shot in his first ever match and did great. He's got his new 6ppc tuned to perfection and only dropped that one point in the last match. Art had a neck separate from the shoulder that stuck in the throat in match 4, and could not remove it in time.:mad:

I could not shoot because of a recent eye operation that would not take kindly to rifle recoil. Soooo....I just called the match. But...."I'll be back," next in Feb.

Congratulations to the new shooters, we need all of them we can find....I understand your concern about low turnout we had the same problem here in San Angelo until we just couldn't get enough shooters together to hold a score match...I think Midland has the same problem...apathy..

I had a great time Virgil. As a new shooter I was a little nervous but glad I finally went to the match. Will be there next month as well.
