The 2012 prices for J4 Jackets are now available. To get a price sheet please contact Melesia Cisneros at melesia.cisneros@bergerbullets.com. Sorting out our prices this year was particularly difficult. In a deliberate effort to keep prices stable we secure large quantities of copper at a set price. The bad news is that we locked up our price during a stretch when copper was higher than it is today.
I know the importance of keeping prices down so we've been working hard on how we can do so in spite of the high material cost. In 2012, some of the jackets have no change in price while others have a slight to significant change. I recommend that those who make bullets take a look at the 2012 prices and decide if you want to get your jackets now (before the end of 2011). Depending on which jackets you use it may be wise to do so.
I truly appreciate those who use the J4 Jackets and can assure you that we understand all too well the challenges of making bullets with high material costs. I am giving you this notice deliberately to give you plenty of time to take advantage of an opportunity to save some money. If you have any questions I'll be happy to address them on this forum so everyone will know the answers.
