Shooting with a 9'' J&J Slider , very confused on where to position weight for
the most accurate setting.
Slider attached to a Hoehn tuner , too many variables , yes-no ????
I need some expert advice.
Thanks,
Bones

With the long noodle most position the weight at the far end so it is flush with the inner tube. Try that first then tune it to your liking with the tuner. You can always move the sliding weight later and see if it helps or hurts. James now has another variable you can try. Its a tuner extender with a washer.Washer goes between tuner and extension then another washer between the adapter and noodle. More fine tuning can be done by trying the thin washer, two thin washers, thick washer etc etc. bob

I'm not sure how or why these things work, but if you experiment moving the collar to different positions; your group size will get smaller. I use one on each of my benchrest guns including my pistol and wouldn't consider shooting without one. Take the time to find the best position for the collar (slide) and you will see a noticeable improvement to your guns accuracy. GOOD SHOOTING, Fred
