Hope the new barrel works out!

Dan,
Hope the New barrel works out, So you can sell me the CZ Tomato stake that you shot the 500 with at the last UK postal match. LOL

I hope it is a shooter after all the work that I've put into it.

Those lapping marks are more prominent than I would have expected. Let's see some shooting :)

I shot my first wrabf target this morning with the barrel, 248 6x. I didn't bother to score the second target since it looked like a 240. I think the groove dimension on the barrel may be too large. I have some 4.53 jsbs on the way, I hope it helps.

A way to accomplish the work twice as fast

Dan-
I have a suggestion as to how you could accomplish your testing in a shorter timeframe...............

MAKE TWO OF EVERYTHING AND SEND ME ONE VERSION TO INSTALL ON MY EV2 AND I CAN EVALUATE IT FOR YOU!!!!!!!

Anyway it sounds like a plan to me........... ;)

I do like to help out, from time to time.................

Keep up the good work and IT'S LOOKIN' GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

BTW: I love your "OLD" Stock!

Nice Sightron Dan, nice wheel.

I would love to know what makes a good barrel, seen rough as ar..holes and shot superb, whereas almost mirror finish have been shoddy.

I know nothing about Benchrest Air Guns, but after looking at the pictures of yours it's obviously not your typical airgun! LOL That looks a little different from my old RWS 48. :) Sweet looking pcs ya got there. I'm sure like most any type of benchrest guns you have a few bucks tied up into that. I don't compete, just plink. But have often wanted to purchase a quality airgun to hone my range skills. Please excuse what might be a dumb question but are there specifc gunsmiths that build or modify just airguns? I had a 6 PPC built by my local smith "John Pierce" in Lansing about 9 years ago but to my knowledge I think he just specializes in centerfire? Sorry didn't mean to de-rail your post..

Thanks Pete

Yes there are a few airgunsmiths in the States, I'm one. Lately it has been my primary job. I'm working on a twin tank externally adjustable regulator now for a customer.
