Threaten a presidential candidate? They get Secret Service protection, I assume that means it's also a federal crime to threaten to "cut up" a presidential candidate.

Is the "Revrend" Jackson under arrest or @ least being held while they determine what threat level he poses to Mr Obama, or to Mr Mcain?

I understand Jackson has been out of the country alot. Have they determined to what extent he communicates, or has communicated with groups known to be unfriendly to the US?

Has Clinton been warned that Jackson may be a danger to her...or other ellected officials?

They have him on tape...it's not a rumor. If there is a Federal law that can be used, I want action. If it was "Joe Schoe" who said it..he would be looking @ a 20 year, no parole bid in a federal prison.

Technically, yes, it would be against the law.

In this case however, there seems to be some controversy being that the offender threatened to cut off a body part that doesn't exist on the offendee!

Jesse Jackson showed anger at Obama not playing the game properly as to supporting faith based organizations. Good for Obama, and too bad if Rev. Jesse got pissed off! I guess Jesse doesn't like not owning Obama!
