I voted without regret for Dole, McCain, and Romney, but do I think that they were the best candidate to run against the Dims....NO! I am not a member of the TEA party, but I like their ideas. The reason that the left attacks Sen. Cruz is because they are afraid of him. If I had to pick a GOP candidate for 2016, it would be Gov. Mike Huckabee. He has a solid conservative and moral foundation along with a full measure of common sense. I will be voting for any GOP candidate that opposes the lying Hillary Ramrod Clinton....she is a disgrace. Cruz has broad appeal--independents, women, minorities. And his father is great. I'm hoping he runs for POTUS in 2016.

I can't speak to 2016 but in the end the Dems will beat themselves. At some point our debt load and inability to fund the nanny state will swing the needle. Sure, the Feds can push debits and credits for a while but ultimately you cannot avoid the balance sheet (notice how I said "Feds" and not just Democrats? Both sides contributed to the $17 trillion). As a proud American I'm sad to see it come to that but I do believe it's inevitable. And when it happens it will be painful.
The upside is it may force us return to personal accountability, reduced government, and increased free-market (something that I do look forward to).

I have to agree with you on that Free market competition.
Lets hope so in the future.
The oil companies for 1 have created a monopoly with out competition.
There are many others , along with china's markets being driven by booth parties political agendas
