Is It Time To Sell My Stoners???

Have couple in the safe that are not used anymore (SR25 and SR15 with short tubes) that maybe going up in value even more!! Thinking about letting them go to take advantage of the buying that is going on right now.
 
A $1,000 rifle that can be sold for $1,500 a year or two from now, will be a much better return rate then $1,000 cash sitting in a CD or bank account making $25- $42 interest.

I'd come up with the cash somehow else to buy my new toys now, and save my AR's for when they go up 50% more. I've got 3 that I want to dump, but am waiting.

Sell or Not

There is also a very real possibility that in a couple of more years just having a Stoner or at least taking one out of the house, and especially selling one will be a felony.
 
No kidding!! Just thinking ahead--btw have been doing Very Well on the Puts I wrote yestreday!! May sell some today... Citi and Boeing are getting beat up!!!

That's true too and a possibility. But, where do you draw the line as to how far you will let you fears dictate your actions about whether to sell now?

I think the most likely reality and worse case scenario will be a ban on the sale and transfer. Naturally, most laws don't take effect for a month or two, and you would have that time to sell what you have at a very high price.

I would hope that AR15's would be declared "destructive devices" before they are outright banned. This way they could be registered under ClassIII licensing in many states. Of course that would still be an agregious blow to the average citizens 2nd amendment rights.

Do not sell yet. I tried to order 3 AR's today add it took several calls to major distiibuters to find these.Also magizines are getting scarce.

Does it cost you money to keep them? If not I would wait for the crap to hit the fan. Then you will see the hundred dollar bills fly off the roll.
