Is he one of us?

Alan Keyes has been around for many years. He would be more hated by the left if he was still on radio and TV.

I have been a follower of what the man has to say for many years, I have never known the man to be wrong, yet.

To bad he's not on FOX NEWS channel any longer. Thank goodness we at least have Glenn Beck now.:D

Can you believe that Alan Keyes is a black American republican from -----MARYLAND? Md. is my home state too, and it's also the home state of Michael Steele another BAM rep from MARYLAND. So, how come we are locked into a totally democratic controlled state. BTW, Keyes and Steele both have run for the senate and were defeated. Not really close. They couldn't carry the black vote. I thought for sure Steele would win over the white liberal Cardin, but wrong again. I find it hard to disagree with either of these guys on most any important topic.

Let's never forget that the folks REALLY RESPONSIBLE for this mess are walking with us.........

Every day we need to show truth to our neighbors. They VOTED for where we are today! What bugs me is that there are not MORE ALAN KEYES' out there to vote for. But this is because government IS "by the people/for the people" and "the people" have shown themselves to be incredibly stupid!

Grassroots.....every day.

Amnesty laws + Motor /voter laws + ACORN = more ignorant people who vote = more ingorant politicians.
The odds are drastically stacking up against what America once was.

If the average "citizen" had to take a short history test based on the Constitution before they could vote things might be better, but of course that would discriminate against the stupid and ignorant who think that "general welfare" means wiping the noses of those too lazy to wipe their own noses, and doing whatever else for them that they want done. They'd just as soon be subjects as citizens, and likely have no idea what the difference is.

Poll taxes and tests

There was a reason that in the begining the founders allowed only landed people or people of wealth to vote. Fair or not those are the people that would have to pay the taxes if they are inacted by the representatives and so for several dozens of years there wasnt much tax on the people of this country. In the past we have had poll taxes and literacy tests. Fair or not that allowed only those of means (who would bear the taxes) to vote and only those of intelligence enough to support themselves and understand, perhaps, our government's original meaning and read and understand the Constitution. Now let me through gas in the this fire, there was a reason that women were not allowed to vote originally but I wont go further there. And finallly nowdays I would suggest that another "test" be added to those who vote and those who would inflict government on us in Washington and that would be a pee test! Note that in none of this did I suggest anything racial if Alan Keyes runs I will vote for him, if Condelesa Rice were to run for office I would vote for her, same for Bobby Jendal (sp), or J.C. Watts or a woman of Margie Thatchers positions. I will vote for whomever will cut governmemt intervention, less governmenmt lower taxes, national defense, and efficient government! I am sick of what this country is becoming and PC BS.!

They have all simply been trained........

to vote.....for a LIVING!:D Rome freed the slaves & gave them "Bread & Circuses", we give them food stamps & NFL. It makes the victims of the American educational system compliant, & the strapped middle class has to pay the bill..... & be compliant, say something wrong, comrade, you could lose your chob, the times are tough, think wisely....

When I was a child, many, many years ago in order for a person to vote on a tax issue they had to be taxpayers. That meant that a person had to have a job, or own property either real or personal because things like furniture were taxed. When I mentioned this to some people in WA they told me how unfair and discriminatory this was. "How could those brutes deny someone the right to decide on taxes just because they didn't pay taxes?"

There's taxation without representation, but representation without taxation is equally evil. Those who don't pay taxes have no right to decide how much the taxpayers should be taxed. How dare I suggest such an evil and anti-diversity idea. Because I'm old and old fashioned about some things that's how. :D
