Is anyone running a tuner on 18" .920 22lr barrels?

I've been reading about tuners and find the idea interesting. I am thinking that I might want to try one just to have the experience but have been wondering if their effectiveness will be apparent on a relatively short and stiff barrel such as an 18" .920 22LR barrel.

Is it worth a try?

Sure it's worth a try. It will have an impact on the vibration pattern of the barrel. I would get the extra weights, with such a short stiff barrel they might be needed.

Thanks for the reply.

I searched around and see that this question gets asked every few years.

I am starting to look around for sources of a tuner and found one that has click stopped positioning and needs to be bored to match your barrel and another recently introduced model that is made specifically for .920 barrels and has screw weights that are prescribed for the length of barrel.

The one that has the adjustable position seems suitable for learning etc.

I'd appreciate learning of any other choices.

Thank you.
