I'm right here . . .
The CMP Affiliation dues are $30.00 per year, and are due in April. They have an On-Line method of filling out the Affiliation Papers. I have not been able to get into that area of their Web Site. They have some kind of security system that requires a set of pass words.
I gave up on it and the first of May I sent them an e-mail asking for help. Got an answer, saying they would mail me the "Paper Work". I have two requests for IREM membership right now. Soon as the CMP forum come and I send them that $30.00, I'll mail out the two IREM membership cards I have printed and am holding.
The officers of our local club dropped CMP because of the excessive paperwork. Six years ago when CMP was selling those 3500 40X rifles, I requested affiliation for the shooters on RFC, and came up with the name: IREM - (International Rimfire E-Mail Matches). About 35 RFC members got in on that deal. I was so busy filling out paperwork, I didn't have time to do the paperwork for my own rifle.
I am sorry for this membership card delay. I wish I could have been able to fill out the forms on-line, as it would be easier than doing pages and pages of paper forms.
As I mentioned, we had 35 IREM members when we started. Since: About six per year. Only reason to join is to get a membership card, which is needed to place an order for a rifle from CPM. We have about $800 from dues in the bank. We plan to use that money to buy Shooting Related prizes for the our RFC On-Line Matches.
