The first 505/50 Nationals of the year is just a few days away – February 20-21 at Piney Hill in Luray, Virginia. This is the first time the Sporter Nationals have been held as a separate weekend event and it should be a great match.
So, what’s at stake? There will be at least 3 World Records shot that weekend – Indoor 3-Gun Sporter Agg Yards, Indoor 3-Gun Sporter Agg Meters and Indoor 6-Gun Sporter Yards/Meters Agg. Whoever wins those three events will get Hall of Fame points for the win and World Record points to go along with it. But, WAIT, there’s more… IR505/50 has placed a $250 cash prize for the winner of each Nationals this year. On top of that Piney Hill will pony up a $125 cash prize for the winner of each day- Sporter Yards and Sporter Meters. Nice trophies also!!
The range will be open for practice Friday.
This event will be a true test of shooting skill and stamina. Getting it done over 6 Sporter targets may be the hardest match out there. Who will come out on top? Come on out to a premier indoor range to take part in this historic event.
