Regionals

The match run by Cliff Keesee was the best match I've been to in 10 years. It was very efficient and the food was great. No complaints about the scoreing- the gentleman and young lady did a great job. If you are a range master, the learning experience was invaluable. Thanks to Manuel and his helper. I never had a person ask me if he could pull my flags in during the rain. It was great to see old friends again and I'm looking forward to the Nationals. I really like the four minute command. Three minutes to get your rifle ready to fire and one minute to insert the bolt and at the end of the 4th minute- commence fire. That takes care of the bench slugs:rolleyes:

Doc

it's good to see ya Rosie as ever! See ya at the Nat's, till then keep on smiling and think happy thoughts. Shoot well and keepum in the centers!::p

New Record ??

I don't think it's a new record.......if it is then it belongs to Fred Wickstrom. He shot a 250 17X at 50 meters at the Cheif City Shooter club at the North Central Regional match just last month. Fred's sporter is a Sako action which has a used 40X barrel thats been turned down to make weight. His sporter, which both he and his wife Lou (short for Louise) shoots has shot several 250's this past season.
Look in the match results, it's listed.

Hi Jim,

That's some good shooting! Congrats on the win and records. See you in Sept.
