This Saturday, April 26th, marks the start of the 2008 benchrest season at Pinnacle Mountain Fish & Game Club in Lyndeborough, NH. I have been told that even though the flood waters are still running high, we will be able to get out to the range. Please note that if the road to the range is labeled as being closed due to mud you will have to drive in front of the berm standing next to the driveway instead of behind it.

The club's gate will be open by 7:45 with sign-in and bench drawings to immediately follow, and the first “Commence Fire” being called at 9:00 A.M. signaling the start of the IR 50/50 3-Gun season.

At the conclusion of the IR 50/50 match we will be taking a short break to relocate the target stands back at 25 yards, for lunch (not provided), and to allow time for any late arrivals to sign-in, plus to redraw for benches. The second “Commence Fire” should be called at 12:00 noon, or as soon after as time will allow, for the first ever AirGun Benchrest match being held at Pinnacle Mtn.

Everyone is more than welcome to come and join in the fun. Keep in mind that there will be no lunch served so you will need to bring along whatever works best for you, but there will be a good selection of sodas available in the clubhouse for a small donation.

I WILL BE CHECKING AGAIN ON THE STATUS OF THE FLOOD WATERS LATER ON TODAY AS WELL AS SOMETIME TOMORROW SO, IF FOR ANY REASON THE WATERS RISE AND WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE I WILL BE POSTING ANOTHER NOTICE HERE BY 6 P.M. FRIDAY NIGHT.

If for any reason you need to contact me, you may do so by either calling my cellphone at 987-877-8482, or by emailing me at dashattuck@gmail.com.

And remember: it's "black fly" season!!!

Great, my first match at Pinnacle and it's floods and black flies...hmmmm!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Best,
Michael

Dave,
Kathy, Bear and I will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone again after the long winter.
Todd

Dave,
I will be there for both.

Todd I got my targets from Willbur will bring a bunch if your order didn't come in. Also if you can bring a 250 pin and 3 target pins for AL. Thanks

Paul

Thanks Paul,
My targets arrived yesterday too. I've got the pins in my ammo cooler already so I won't forget them.

See you Saturday.

It will be good to see everyone tomorrow. Hard to believe the season is finally underway.

Paul & Todd...ya going to "pin" me? ;)

Al

Yep, Al, we're going to tag-team you.:D
I hope the weather is good out there tomorrow....This will be my 5th season shooting at Pinnacle Mtn. If I don't shoot a 250 there this year, I'm selling my .22's and taking up Airgun:eek: Well, maybe I'll keep the .22's;)

Well, it's a go for tomorrow! I just got off the phone with our good friend BackRoads and the club has been fully open for 3 days now, so we're good-to-go. Oh, and another piece of good news: BackRoads said he'd be joining us. I'm looking forward to shooting with him once again.

Hey Todd, if you and/or Kathy are interested and would like to try one of these puff-guns, you're more than welcome to use mine. And if both of you would like to give it a go I'm sure there may be a second available for the cause. Heck, I'll even front the ammo for both of you. Of course, I'm not sure if I can afford the buck 25 each it will cost to have you shoot all 3 targets, but I'll manage ...somehow ...I guess. Man, two people can shoot all day for under 5 bucks! Can you imagine?

Seriously though, you are more than welcome to stay for the air gun match, or you may want to wait until I get my new bench stock as the factory one is a real rocker and roller!

See everybody in the morning.

Dave
