Iowa State Group Championship

This weekend at Webster City, Iowa, The Dean Guy Eckstrom outlasted a field of 30 to take the 2 gun championship. Along the way, in the Heavy Varmint 200 yard contest, he managed to shoot a range measured .081. It was also inside the mothball with paper all around it. What a beautiful group.

Richard Brensing traveled all the way from western Kansas to come in second in the 2 Gun.

Congratulations to Dean on his potential world record HV200 small group!

Dean shot this group in some terrible conditions, an almost non-stop 10-15mph wind with quick gusts for most of the weekend.

The current record was set by Mark Buettgen at 0.096" in 2009.
