Well we finally got the Iowa 1000yd State Championship match in. The weather was, rainy -surprise-, cloudy and sunny on Saturday. The Iowa winds were clam at times to very nasty. All in all it was a great shoot and every one had a great time. The match ran like clock work thanks to our staff, Randy Bonnett, Dave Clark, Juli Fischer, Chris McLees, Matt Bonnett, and Dean Walther.
There were 7 screamer groups shot throughout the day, Stephen Fischer shot three in Heavy gun, 4.84, 5.451 and a 5.262, and Chris McLees shot a 5.193. There were three light gun screamers, Mike Eshleman 3.308, Lee Fischer 3.202 (50 score) and Christina Thielen shot a 2.82. I do not believe we have ever had a heavy gun shooter shoot three screamers on one day, great shooting Stephen. Congratulations to all on some great shooting.
