I've been searching all over the internet and can't seem to find a listing of the stock rules for the international sporter class .22's as is shot overseas, especially in Australia and in the Phillipines. I know they have a 2.25" width limit and the bottom must be convex, but by how much I can't seem to find. Anyone able to help me a bit here?

The action may be glued into the stock. Stock must be 57.15 mm (2.25") or under atits widest point. No stock tape allowed. For-end and butt of stock that comes in contact with front and rear sandbags must be convex. Convex will be determined by placing a ‘coin’ (circular disk measuring 22 millimetres)on the stock that comes in contact with sand bags. The outer edges of the ‘coin’ can not come in contact with thestock. There must be visible space underneath the outer edges of the ‘coin’ (circular disk).

It is the responsibility of the individual competitor to check they abide by these specifications.
APPENDIX H
Clarification on latest design of front rests
Development of Benchrest equipment especially front rests is still being carried out by the main manufacturers. Thefront rest sand bag is a prime example. The latest development is the fixed bag produced by Sinclair International,Varide Cicognani, Bald Eagle, Fudd and Midway. This latest bag is acceptable under these rules for allcompetitions. The following are examples of such bags.

Varide Cicognani Sinclair InternationalMidway (Caldwell)The ‘pressure gauge’ forming part of the front rest is also a new development by Varide Cicognani, this attachmenthowever will
not be allowed in competitions
and will not have to be removed before that rest can be used. Thislist is not exhaustive – competitors are responsible for ensuring they abide by the rules laid here.

29,
Yep, this was a big help. I was just googling "international sporter class .22 rifle" and all I was getting was comments on forms. Your "World Rimfire etc" took me to what I need. Now I know what "ERABSF" and "WRABF" means. I printed both the rule books out. The ERABSF rule book was dated 2007-2008 and states that the International Sporter Class stocks must be made of wood. The newer WRABF and ERABSF combined rule book of 2012-2013 states that any material may be used. We are getting a lot of requests for a stock like this so I guess we will make an slightly rounded bottom on the forearm version of our Hunter Class Edge BR stock for the Anschutz type rifle actions.
Thank you for your help.
Regards, Dick at McMillans

Dick glad you found the updated WRABF rules, you dont need much convex, pretty much if you can put a 20cm coin underneath the middle of the fore end and you can see a bit of a gap on the edges of the coin it is good. In Aus we are about to take on the World Rules for RBA but up until this stage we did not require the convex bottom.

As mentioned updated World WRABF rules based on votes @ AGM in the USA are now on line www.wrabf.com
