Why not just get a Lyman Auto scale.
The scale is a milligram magnetic force restoration scale. If you are not familiar with those terms, you might want to do some research. Many shooter have no need for the kind of accuracy that this unit provides, but for those who do, it is a very big deal, and a great value. This young man is very clever, and the trickler add on is a very good value.
anily digits with no accuracy behind them.
Many have 'readability' but not accuracy.
Unless you have a set of very precise check weights you are not getting what you need.
Seems like a pretty cool deal for those that weigh powder. Heck fire!...if you're gonna take the time to weigh you need to get it right!! On the other hand, are y'all saying that there are some scales that don't get it right...and have differences in each charge? Or...are you saying that all the charges are the same but different from what the display shows? Or...both??
Typical electronic scale moves in STEPS.
You do not know if you are at 30.05, 30.1 or 30.15..and maybe worse.
That is on the scales that work like on the charge master.
Go with lower quality and who knows.
For those who are not familiar with the differences between the two common types of electronic scales, this video demonstrates them quite well.
