I have a rem700P .308. In F/tr the gun must stay unchanged? I live in Central virginia... Anyone help me get my feet wet?
 
The gun can change almost all you want. Sorry I don't live in Virginia or I would be glad to help. Find a range that shoots F-class and show up early. It helps if you have your zeros for the range you are going to be shooting. If not have a good 100 yd. zero and someone there can put you on paper if you have a target style scope.
 
F-Class in a near central Virginia

You have two very viable options, in Quantico and Butner. Both have F-class matches regularly. Look at the Quantico Shooting Club web site and the North State Shooting Club web site.
