Congratulations Inez, and another amazing thing is that Bill also shot 2 250's with a high X count. Husband and Wife together both shoot 4 250's that's fantastic, and believe this is also a First.

Awesome Shooting and again Congratulations to you both.

Take Care,

Joe

Way to go, Inez!

You too Bill! Great guns with great ammo, guided by experienced hands, and we are seeing fantastic results! Congratulations to you both!

Any chance of seeing you up north...the Tom Miller back-to-back tournaments in Salem, NY maybe? It would be nice! Penny

What a day!

Thanks to all. Just got back from WV Regionals (IR 50/50) at Mountain State. We had a ball yesterday in the three gun at yards. Bill and I both shot back to back 250's in the two heavy classes. One gun (Myers titanium action, Myers Easy Rider stock, Benchmark 2 groove barrel, Jewell trigger, Leupold 36X scope and new Eley from the 5 machine), two shooters, front rest and back bag, four 250's with 80 x's. Shooting a 250 for me is still a big deal because I don't do it that often, so this was very special for me.

Today was a horse of a different color -- we couldn't buy a target and the things that worked so perfectly yesterday did not today. Of course, it may have been because we started Saturday evening at Red Lobster sucking up some celebratory gargantuan rum drinks and then spent most of the night dancing around the motel room stringing t-paper on the light fixtures and singing "I Shot the Sheriff" followed by a medley of Eagles tunes. The Harley guys in the room next banged on the adjoining wall and begged us to give them a break, so we invited them on over and kept on rolling until the WV state policeman with a bull horn in the parking lot advised us to come out with our hands up. However, there are some things you just need to celebrate with gusto because they don't come around that often. Our mug shots will forever hang in the manager's office of every Red Roof Inn and we may have to start camping out with Doug Weeter if our reputation spreads to other motel chains. The entire experience was fun and that's what this whole game is about. We had our finest day shooting as a couple on Saturday and will remember it for a long time.

We're grateful to Wiley and Janet Westfall for running their matches so smoothly and making visitors feel welcome and thanks again to all of our friends for their good wishes!

Congratulations Inez & Bill! Looking foward to shooting with you both again.

Inez and Bill,

Good shooting! You two are both awesome competitor. And I know I was fully impressed with that Titanium action of yours when you let me put a few through it at Canasota last year. But, the heck with the gun, it's the victory celebration that sounds the best to me. And, I bet the targets did look a bit fuzzy on Sunday.

Dave,The action that you shot was a sporter verson that i made for Inez,I decided that i needed a new action for this year,So i went into the shop the day before Christmas, locked the doors & turned on my old time Rock & roll music & made myself a Titanium Action for my 10 pd gun,The bolt was already finshed,So it was done that day,The bare action weighs 8 ouncesI shot the rifle indoors But i did not have a great lot of ammo for it,I have 2 great lots of ammo for it now.Whenever i see you you ,you are welcome to shoot it. Also on another note,Carl Boise shot his first 250 in the sporter class on saturday at Mountain state,He made me feel good ,because he borrowed the rifle & I built it.BILL

Congrats to Bill and Inez. Hope I get to shoot with you sometime.

Bill, the gun you built for me is excellent!!! The stock turns heads and gets lots of compliments on how nice it is. The gun is shooting better than I can do justice, but I'm getting there. Thanks for the excellent work.

Best,
Michael
