I'd like to put DRO's on my Dayton Mill-Drill. It appears to be a clone of the Rong Fu 31 or Enco, but with a 9x32 table.
What do you recommend, and is the installation pretty straight forward?
Thanks
Bryan
When installing your scales you need to set up an indicator and move your carriage from one extreme of travel to the other and make sure the indicator needle doesn't move. You need to indicate both the horizontal and vertical plane. You will need a little shim stock on hand. If the scales are out, they will not read true to the machines movement.
