Hey Dereck, We are planning on shooting all winter at Jackie's Buck Creek Range. It won't be a registered match but will be competitive and fun. Do you remember what the buiding looks like inside? You will be inside in the warm and shooting outside. I think there's 7 benches....Jerry

yep i remember. my rifle is now at jackies for him magic work over. if your by there look it over. i think you'll really like the don stith stock alot.

i'm ganna try to get down there in the winter and have some fun with you guys. maybe give my savage markII a work out.

i was just wondering about the indoor range. when i looked at it there is a 25 yard range and a 100 yard range. no 50 yard hook up there!! i have 25 yards with a bullet trap in my basement. why drive that far for a 25 yard range? i want 50 because i want to get tuned in for the distance i'm ganna shoot at.

my next home will have the 50 yards in the basement i want. i need a bigger home now, so i might have more than 50 yards before it is done.

This is the link to open range. They have out to 100yd rifle and an active pistol. I don't know the distance on the pistol range.

They use the mancom(sp) system, just select the distance you want and it takes your target out for you. There is a little video on the website. I think it was filmed when the KY Afield crew came in and did a segment for the TV show. Does a pretty good job in a short clip of explaining things. Will get into your pocket book though. Benches are concrete but awful short making it somewhat difficult. Lighting could be better! I'm not trying to knock the range just letting you know what I have found so you can better prepare yourself in event you try it out!

If you have the money and want to ROCK & ROLL.......you can rent fully autos also.
