Congradulations go out to all the shooters involved in the first indoor airgun benchrest match. Everyone shot well and the challenges of indoor shooting and the mirage factor came to light (HEAT WAVES ). Amazing how much heat comes off a 500 watt light blub:D. There are a few tricks to shooting indoors and you guys will see dramactic improvements in your scores.

Hats off to the following shooters

Jeff Carroll springer 184 0X
Jon Carroll match 239 2X
Doug Shea Unlimited 248 7X

Thanks Ron, I will send them an email telling them about this Airgun

Benchrest Forum. I havn't had time to fool around with the range lights yet.

Again congratulations to Doug Shea, Jon Carroll and Jeff Carroll. Not to

forget Craig Phillips shooting the same score with a few less X's.

Hope to see all the indoor shooters at the next outdoor match.

Allen Stigal makes a great little flag for indoors

Paul,
I'm going to try and take you a picture this afternonn on the flags I use to improve my shooting. these little flags when used in tandum really help reduce the number of vertical flyers I get when shooting indoors. I can't tell you where your shot is going to go, but they are very good showing you a very small condition change that does not move my Wick flags at all.

Ron,

I too look forward to this information! AZ had mentioned something about using Larger Down Feathers to show any directional deflection, and smaller ones to show the extent of deflection (similar to the tails we now use) when shooting indoors. I haven't tried anything yet, but will be doing something before our next indoor match.
