The Indiana State ARA tournament will be held at Wabash Wildloife and Sportsman's Association range on Sunday June 28th at 9:00am sharp. Sign up no later than 8:30 am. We have a 4 card club match on Saturday the 27th for those wanting to warm up at the range. I kind of need a head count to prepare for food. The list I know of either first hand or second is.......

Are you coming alone or with someone? I'm excited that you are coming but I need to be sure the food and drinks are plentiful. It's 26 miles to the range and they don't have a kitchen or refrigerator so I have to bring it in coolers and crock pots. Thanks man!

That adds two more to the list I already posted and I didn't count the numbers. This Indiana State ARA Tournament is open to all. I will not turn anyone away. It may be a long day, but it will be fun and competitive.

Hey John,
Sorry about that...I was thinking John but was looking at the previous post that started with Don and I think I typed what I was looking at instead of what I was thinking! I meant to address it to you and just made a goof-up...sorry for the confusion. I just wanted to make sure I had a spot reserved. I am coming up with Kirk after the Owensboro match on Saturday so I will just follow him to the range.

Folks the list is being updated....This is going to be a great turnout! June 27-28, 2009. 9:00am sharp on commence fire. Sign up no later than 8:30am. Draw for benches immediately afterward. We are at three relays now.

Got an update from this evening. Rex Thompson is coming from Michigan. This is awesome folks. Talked to some shooters that may be coming or inviting others and we hope they join in. Let me know very soon, or this tournament will be full. I've asked some other folks to invite Jane Studebaker (widow of the great man Mike Studebaker) to shoot either Sat., Sun. or both or visit with her friends if she doesn't shoot.

Well, that's 35 shooters in the confirmed and assume list. Wabash has 12 usable benches and even with a 9:00am start for the IN State ARA Tournament we would have a hard time doing 4 relays. Any glitch during the day would press daylight to the final relay not being able to finish their final match. I am limiting the day to 36 competitors (been asking for confirmation) to the confirmed and assumed list plus one. If you are on the assumed list and do not plan to attend then contact me. I had a couple of phone calls today with people asking to shoot the Sunday June 28 tournament. One now confirmed shooter traveling with a previously confirmed shooter. One asking to shoot and bring another competitor but he doesn't want to push anyone out of their spot (even though they haven't contacted me in any way...phone, e-mail or pm). I told him there will be a point that 1st come first serve will dictate. That will prevail real soon.

Our field is now full. We cannot add any shooters to the list as of present. If available positions open up Then let me know if you're interested in one. I've spent hours and hours planning this thing and I've been rewarded. 36 confirmations either over the phone, BRC, at matches, or by e-mail. The Lord gives to those who sow. I appreciate that.
