I’m not sure if your post is rhetorical in nature or if you’re actually making a query for an accurate response. I’ll choose the latter and say the simple answer is: Yes, he would shoot better.

Would he win more matches? That would be a statistical exploration determined by whether or not his superior wind reading skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions are more important than the accuracy gain. It might mean one additional win out of his next 10 matches or one out of his next couple hundred. Who knows!
I do know we all strive for the most minuscule gains in accuracy and indexing will always be on my list of accuracy improvements.
