This is a similar question that I have had when working up loads. My impression was that you work up a load with powder and seating depth and a given neck tension. Once you have found that load window and seating depth that gives you the most consistent agg's you then mess with the neck tension +/- .001, see what it does to the agg, and then try to maintain that neck tension by feel from there on?
When I have read about changing neck tension from say .003 to .004 is that it takes multiple groups to tell if there is a significant difference (unless the groups just go to pot right off the bat then you can go the other way).
The statement that goodgrouper made makes me think that there is a lot more to it, and that you might find a seating depth/powder charge that didn't work at one neck tension that might work with a different one?
