For those that do the mail order
Powder valley is listing IMR 8208 XBR at $18.55 for 1lb
and $130 for 8lbs.
They do have it listed as "Out of stock".

They told me that the price has not been set. Then they put the price on their website. We will just have to wait and see. Should be available at or near the end of the first quarter of 2010. I sure like doing business with them.

what the man said

they posted the product( at my insistance) so i could get on a waiting list.
after we were told it would be a commercial product, i went to my main distributor(powder valley) and bugged then for a couple of days. the only way to get a waiting list, was to list the product. it has no known price, but they put in run of the mill pricing. if you order, i believe, they will tell you no known price.

It's a very good Company to do business with and they don't rip you off.
I'm sure the price will be within the range of the other powders from Hodgdon

i am a dealer, i do business with them,it was not a listed product when i started emailing them. they had no idea of the powder when i started emailing. after i explained that i (and others) had been on a waiting list for over a year......a list that had dissappeared, they had added a new product to thier line, that is not available till next year just to start a waiting list....
i guess if its an issue we could look at date stamps on email......started the begining of the month. its entirely possible that multiple people were banging on thier door at the same time.

NO issue Mike.
It's cool. Just a little humor and sarcasm.
One of the things I live by. "If you don't ask, ya don't get".
I am just a shooter. A new guy. Still amazed at what custom hardware and components can do.
