Helping a new shooter prep 30BR brass. He has IMR and Hodgdon 4198. I would think he can use the IMR in fireforming brass with TNT 125's but I don't know the difference in the powders. Does anyone know how much IMR to use?

Thanks, Ron Jackson

The IMR brand 4198 is more bulky and is thought to be JUST a tad slower than Hodgdon 4198 made in Australia...

Start around 31.5gr and work-up.. Shoot'em for groups and you may be suprised how fast you'll see tight groups..!
