Where do you guys get your backers for shooting IBS score?

Most just use cardboard as a stationary backer is all that is required.

So you just get cardboard and start cutting? That’s a lot of cutting..

The backers should be several feet behind the targets, about 6. They can be cardboard, coroplast, plywood, whatever. They are there to help identify crossfires, etc.
The bullet holes can be taped over after each relay as long as no crossfires or problems occur.

If you have a friendly plumber get him to save you his water heater boxes. Eddie Harren head of the target crew (and many other things) at Thurmont keeps us supplied with water heater boxes. He and Fred Ridgway and a couple other of our target crew workers can build a stationary backer in a very few minutes with a few 2x4's firring strips and a screw gun
