Here are the final totals for IBS 600 yard Shooter of the Year. A few notes of interest;
Samuel Hall set 6 records. He also won the 600yd Nationals.

Paul Wagner set 2 records. Paul did some very good shooting. He is a senior in high school. Can you imagine how good he is going to be if he keeps this up. By the way, Paul and his father, Rodney both finished in the top five.

Richard Schatz and John Lewis both had one record each, and Mike Davis tied an existing record.

The official records will be published soon after the meeting in Harrisburg later this month.

Congratulations to these shooters and to everyone who had a good year.

Congratulations Sam!!

What an awesome year you've had piloting your 6br's into the winners circle at most every match you attended.

Enjoy the SOY title, you've well earned it.

In NASCAR language, the rest of the field wasn't even in the lead lap.

Congrats again on a fine year.

Hope to see everyone at Piedmont in Sept.

Thanks guys for the replys! My wife, 2 boys, and I just got back from Disney. Richard, my wife got a kick out of what you said about Nascar!
I have really enjoyed this year. Got to meet alot of great shooters I had heard and read about at the Nationals. And got to stay the week with my shooting buddies from Piedmont Gun Range. We should all thank Larry Isenhour for keeping track of the SOY points throughout the year. He has done a fantastic job and has gotten nothing in return but our thanks!
Three years ago I did not think I could even be competitive with the great shooters we have at 600 yards. It proves if you listen, learn, and watch from the more experienced shooters and have a passion for the sport you will excell. I am a good example.
I am amazed at the groups and scores that are being shot at 600 these days. There are groups shot at most every match now that would have been records 3 years ago. A winning agg. 3 years ago will not even be in the top 5 these days. A few guys are trying some new dedicated truely HG's this year that are showing alot of promise. At our Piedmont "fun shoot" in Jan. these HG's took the top 4 places! I can't wait until this coming year to see some more "little bitty groups" and records.
