IBS 1K Shooter of the Year Rules - .6 rule amended

All,

The IBS Long Range Committee has amended the 1,000 yard Shooter of the Year rules to level the playing field (as best we can anyway). I assume not everyone will be happy, but the revised rules seems to make sense and should work reasonably well regardless the number of benches in use in a give relay. I want to thank the LR Committee (Taylor, Walker, Rosen, Thielen, House, Sabo, Hall) for the significant amount of time they put into this matter. The ranges and shooters spoke and they listened.

You have listened and have come up with the best possible solution. I hope everyone gives you credit for your efforts to resolve the mistake.

Thanks to all who have given of their time in an attempt to resolve this issue.
Given the results of the poll I really anticapated a somewhat different outcome.
Now that a decision has been made, is there a chance that the members could voice their opinion via a ballot at next year's annual board meeting?
It is just something I think should be explored and or considered.
