I believe that Shiraz Balolia (spelling?) is the principal behind this new company. He was on Practical Machinist asking about what improvements Heavy10 owners would like to see.

I think he mentioned that it would be a separate company from Grizzly.

They where going to come out with one that had cam-lock spindles. Cool!!!
The South Bend Heavy 10's have always had cam-lock spindle nose as an option as well as the L-taper type. Well, not always, but at least since the '70's.

The current 'new" Heavy 10, as is being made in Taiwan, will be too expensive for the hobbyist gunsmith (about $20K)

Now, if Shazar is coming out with a newer Heavy 10 with the good features, solid bearings, short headstock, etc, then the market will grab it and run.

Oh, and not made in Communist China, I hope. We are putting the noose around our own neck!!!

Now that we're going to nationalize everything,,, we shgould have a national breeder machine tool company. The basic purpose of which is to generate a pool of people in America who have the skills to build machine tools. This national company could have a limited market, say, defense only. But it would be over staffed and have high turnover. people leaving would go out and start their own companies with SBA loans and grants. Like a school. I don't advocate natioanalization, but if we're going to do it do it right.

??? You don't like Nationalization, but do it right?? I don't get that statement.

It's all about Globalization, which is a plan to pull down the top industrial nations, like the US of A.

Redistribution of wealth, not just in the US but globally.
