those of you that shoot sporter. I put a Burris 6X on an old Savage 23AA today and shot it some before our ARA match late this afternoon. The old gun shot pretty good but I felt like I was guessing where I was pointing with that 6X scope. I was using a black bull, NRA 50 yard metric target. Maybe you should get to add 1x for each 10 years of age(G). Rich

Good Point...

Rich, I'll drink to that suggestion. These 78-year-old eyes with cataract surgeries have one helluva time seeing a specific place on that bull.

Don't you complain, you've wore us out from time to time with that little rifle.....I think we need to vote to put a 4X on your sporter!! If I remember correctly it wasn't to long ago you shot a 249 in Georgetown with the little gun.
