Hunter Class BR

Were there any changes to the hunter class br rules recommended at the Hunter National meeting that will be presented to the NBRSA Directors for action?
Any mention of tuners being allowed in HBR?
Where will the future Nationals be held or at least recommended to directors?
Thanks,
Al Elliott

The two main suggestions to be be presented were a different scoring method to break ties, and some match fee increases on the price caps. No mention or interest in tuners.

Sorry I don't have much detail. I was sitting in the back and could barely hear. Maybe another Nationals attendee can add more detail.

2009 HBR Nationals will be at MillCreek in Desoto, KS.. There has been no discussion about tuners in the HBR realm. There is a proposal on match fees. And VFS is OFF the plate for NBRSA. That covers most of it

Hi Dave.

I'm surprised that the subject of tuners wasn't brought up. How about the locked scope/adjustable mounts situation? These two areas are the hottest issues in BR right now...seems that the NBRSA HBR shooters would want to explore these areas.

Thanks for your work on the NBRSA HBR Committee. :) -Al

Al, locked scopes

were approved last year. Check out the NBRSA website and read the online rulebook.

There was no one who brought up tuners this year.

David

Dave, the old phase "target mounts not allowed" has been replaced by "any sights". That sure is the easiest way to address the mounting issue...making it a non-issue. :)

Thanks again. -Al
