Can someone fill me in on how they score Score Matches ? I see all these numbers stated about the targets and I don't know what it means.
I know what the targets look like but don't know how they come up with the numbers that tell who won,who was second and so on.

If the bullet touches the 10 ring which is the smallest ring it is a 10, if it touched the dot in the center of the 10 ring it is an X , 50-5x is the maximum score per target and there are 5 record targets in an aggregate (yardage) so 250-5X is maximum score for a yardage if it is a 2 yardage match combine the score from each yardage for the Grand Aggregate score 500 and however many X's.
This is scoring under the IBS rules.
If you see wipeouts mentioned that means the entire x dot is taken out, breaking ties by wipeouts is not authorized in IBS registered matches, it is a procedure used in IBS for records only. If two people shoot 250-25x at a match it is a tie period, otherwise ties are broken by X count and if same number of X's whomever dropped first point loses tie if still tied whomever drops first X loses tie.

Dick...Correct me if I am wrong, but in NBRSA score matches the tie-breaker for scores that are the exact same..example..(250-15x) are decided by "wipe-outs"...whereas in the IBS score matches the "Creedmore" rule is still used..?
