Funny you mention that! Just got finished reading the paper about how fast Santa would have to travel in order to do his job. SR-71, Mach 3.2, X-15 Mach 6.72, X-43 Mach 9.8, Santa comes in at Mach 11,000!!! That would be one hell of a lead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are migratory, so you have to use steel shot, and make sure you have your reindeer stamp & HIPP permit!!!!

Reindeer are a species where both the male and female have antlers.

At this time of the year only the female Reindeer have their antlers, the males have already shed theirs... so they are out of season, no lead required.
 
I live with-in a quarter of a mile from a reindeer farm, a few years back a kid stopped on his snow machine and with his .22 rf rifle, wrecked death on a bunch of them. Doesn't take much to kill them.
