sign up for the nationals? I don't think I can go, but on the off chance that I can what would it take?
The last thing I want is to put a snafu for all the people working so hard to get things ready. I would rather stay home than do that.
Assuming you're asking about the 200-300 Nationals at Ashe County you could sign up as late as the morning of the shoot but if you want to be on a flag rotation we need to know at least a couple of days ahead. Hope you can make it, E T
You can normally sign up just before the agg you wish to shoot. As long as they have the info to assign you a bench and a target and put you in the scorekeeping system. As a consideration to the staff try not to make a habit of last minute signing. Some ranges have a policy of charging a few dollars extra for late signups though.

Technically IBS requires a late fee of $10.00 after the advertised cutoff date of preregistration for a Nationals. Many match directors do not enforce this. The only intended purpose of this rule is to let the match organizers know how many people are coming for ordering awards, food, etc. This is always a problem, at least at the 10 or more Nationals I have been involved with.
