Much to my dismay, I underestimated demand for the Hornady 220/6mmBeggs sizing die. The first batch sold out quickly. I doubled the second order but they sold out quicker than I anticipated and I'm presently out of stock. A third production run is in the works as we speak and will be available in eight to ten weeks. In the meantime, if any of you have a die that you are not using, I'll gladly buy it back for what you paid for it. My apologies to those that have been inconvenienced.
I'm sure the rule change in the Sporter Category is responsible for the renewed interest in the 22. Mike Ratigan must be delighted. He can now shoot his 22-100 in all four categories.
If you have not had the pleasure of shooting a well built 22-100 or 220 Beggs in a 10.5 pound rifle, you are in for a real treat. Ratigan says, "A thirty percent reduction in felt recoil has to count for something."
I agree, and a muzzle velocity of 3550 to 3600 fps doesn't hurt anything either.
