Hornaday AMAX on deer

I killed 2 does this weekend with 168 grn Amax 30-06, AMAZING, the results!:DLeft exit holes the size of my fist! The 1st was 150 yrds, the second was 75 yrds. Anyone else have any expierience with Amaxes on game?
 
yes, and i'll never use them again. total jacket/core seperation. not something i look for in a hunting bullet.

Smallest exit hole I've ever had. I figure just the shank exited on a broadside shot 70 yds, 7-08 162Gr AMAX. Even though the bullet was only going 2550fps there was quite a bit of bloodshot meat on the entrance side. The deer walked 80 yds before dropping.
