Holbrooks World benchrest results.
Only had 6 target frames at 25 meters when Al and Franky showed up. They were shooting Unlimited so added targets at 25 yards for them and another bench.

Smokey conditions as the club was burning brush behind the firing line.

Then the wind and rain came. Had a 45 min to 1 hr Thunder storm delay.

Fairly good conditions the last card.

Hope Dan posts some pictures.

Thanks Dave for helping score.

Well that was a fun day, and a long day. I didn't get home till after 7.
The highlight of the day for the kid was scoring a 245 with his new barrel and watching a .50 Barrett being fired. My highlight was being teased by the woodchuck at the 75 yard line.
Here are some pics,

At least the wind and the smoke kept the black flies at bay.

Dan,

That first picture up above makes it look like Paul and I were trying to figure out who has less hair? We're not talking about pellet lube, we're talk about the best shampoo to use once there's nothing left.

Paul,

I had a great time and didn't get home 'til after 7 as well. But, that was okay, and I'd do it again anytime as it was great fun, especially the part when the rain, wind and thunder come through causing me to drop 12 points on my last 9 shots. Good stuff!

Hope to see those of you who aren't making the trip out to Easthampton in 3 weeks up at Pinnacle for our last Qualifying match. And, who knows, maybe the winds will even be calm for once ....NOT!
