Great shooting ALL. Winds 10-40 MPH with gusts to 50. Never got two shots off in the same condition.

Hi Paul,

As always thanks for running these matches and thanks for lunch.

I have to tell you folks, in my 13+ years of shooting RFBR yesterday's conditions were the worst I have ever shot. Challenging? You bet! The predominate wind was right in you face, I can't count the number of times my hat flew off or the number of times I had to wipe my teary eyes. I was lucky to win the match and I have to thank Harry. I listened Harry, and waited for that "window or tunnel".

It was nice to meet Mitch Hill, a new guy to RFBR.

Penny and I are looking forward to the next match on May 17. Order up some gentler conditions will you Paul?

And the good news was ....everybody broke 200 on every target. Man, that sounds like quite a day. Sorry I missed it!
Congratulations Al on taking the day, and it's obvious that you must have had a pretty good handle on those conditions since you not only won every target, but also ended up winning the day by a full 32 points. Man, some fun!

Boy, I'm sorry that I missed that one. Al was well prepared from the info he accumulated from the wonderful "Wind and Hot Air..." thread he started on this board.

Nice scores for all in very tough conditions.

Best,
Michael

It sure was a challenging day...but fun. One just had to be ready to duck the wind-blown UFOs! :D

Mike, you were missed, Dave too.
