Paul,

As always, it was a very well run match. I was a little worried when it became obvious that we needed 3 relays, but thought everything went quite smoothly.

Thank you for all that you have done while helping to promote both rimfire and airgun benchrest throughout the 2008 season, and I'm really looking forward to many more great seasons of shooting at Holbrook as it is always a good time to be had by all!

Good luck in Salem, and I hope Doug can figure out what's going on with your gun.

Good shooting Dave!

I know it's been a long bumpy and sometimes frustrating road getting that gun to shoot the way it should. Your scores show that it was worth the effort. Congratulations!

Al

Paul, Thanks for the great pictures. Next year will be an exciting and interesting year to say the least.

Big Dave and Todd, Congrats to the the both of you, great shooting to the rest of the folks also.

Take Care,
Joe

Paul,
Thanks for running the matches at Holbrook. I had a good time at the match on Sat, even though I had hoped the Rapid would shoot a little better indoors. I noticed on your equipment list that I was the only shooter using Kodiaks. Maybe I'll try some of those JSB's in my gun! I was impressed with Jeff's pistol. I'll have to see if I can get the trigger a little better on my 2240 and give it a try sometime.
Todd

David,
Sorry I didn't get any pictures of you, Doug and myself. I hope you can beat Ron's 250 10 X in the Nov match.
Next time I will see if the club will let us shoot sight in starting at 11:00.
Todd,
Your Walther LGR is shooting better than my AZ Rapid's. Doug is doing his magic on my .22 so maybe next time I will be in the running.
Doug If you want to try a windage top or put one on your platform, I have a spare you can try or modify. Thanks for looking at my AZ .22.
Joe,
We have two more chances to beat Ron's indoor record this year. David has his gun smoking! Thanks for all your help and encouragement.
Lead head,
Thanks for looking at the pictures. What AirGuns do you have?
Al,
Come on down and shoot a puff gun, Maybe you or Penny can beat Ron's 10 x. You can use mine but Dave's shoots better.
Next Match Nov. 1
Paul

Paul,
I'm not worried about your having missed a photo opp. In fact, you may have saved your camera by doing so! ;)

Al & Joe,
As Paul said, my gun is smok'n hot right now, and I'm thinking that with just a little more tweaking, it can even get better. But, only time will tell if that's true! Who would have ever thought things would turn around this dramatically after the way things started out?

I'll definitely be there on November 1st, that is, unless we get a foot of snow, or a hurricane, or something worse for the day!

Dave
