Holbrook had it's first shoot this year that it didn't rain.
I want to thank everyone that helped setup and take down the range for the match. Thanks Doug, David and Russ for setting up two more benches so we only needed one relay.

Hi Paul,

As always thanks for running these matches and thank you for lunch. Most of all thanks for the perfect fall day to end the season. We didn't need to break out the "monsoon" gear.

It was good to meet Ray and Al. I hope they become regulars.

Paul,

I know that I only made it to one of your other outdoor Holbrook matches this year, but today couldn't have been a more perfect day for a match. Thanks for ordering it up.

It was great meeting both Ray and Al, plus, it's always nice having another Suhl on the line, and hope we see them again at either Holbrook and/or Pinnacle come next season.

Congratulations to both Michael and Penny for being the big Winners-of-the-Day, and to Al for taking control of things all year long to become the 2009 Holbrook Shooter of the Year.

Hope to see everybody before too long, like maybe at the big Lobster Fest rumored to be happening down at the old ~Hole•in•the•Wall~ range sometime later on this fall?

Paul,
Thanks for running the Holbrook matches. You've done a great job with providing good facilities and, aside from the weather sometimes, fun matches.

Ray and Al - hope you come back next year.

Dave - keep working on the Suhl. I don't think it's the shooter, I think it's the gun. Maybe a new barrel and a tune-up? You definitely have the experience.

Thanks to all for making this such a fun sport. I've still got one more match at Salem. Maybe I can bring my 3-gun scores up.
