This was our fourth indoor shoot. Good shooting by all. Doug Shea shot our first 250 with Norm close behind 249 on the first relay. Both Norm and Len shot springers on the second relay so they didn't have any break. David Shattuck has his Rapid finally shooting and shot his first 250 on the second target. Len's 242 3X and Doug's 250 7X are both record targets.

Thanks for all the help in setup and take down. David Thanks for scoring and taking the pictures.

Good Shooting, Especially Doug and Dave. It's been interesting to watch the progress and steadily improving scores at Holbrook. Those 250's are always a thrill!

Paul,

Thanks for your patience in putting up with us during these indoor matches as I know from past experience just how cramped it can sometimes get when running in such close quarters. But, no matter what anybody says, shooting these little airguns is definitely a blast!

I have posted two pictures below and want to apologise for my not knowing how to post them as already opened pictures. The first is of Doug Shea holding his 250-7X target, and the second is, from left to right: Norm Lieber, Len Sawyer, Doug Shea, Dave Shattuck and Paul Bendix.

I am really looking forward to your Big IR-Unlimited Double Match that's coming up in 2 weeks @ Holbrook. It'll sure be a great way to finish up the outdoor season, that's for sure!

Congrats to all. The scores are starting to rise as you guys get more familiar with these guns. Good going.

Doug - I'll be bringing my back-up Suhl to the IR 50/50 match so you can join in.

Best,
Michael

great shooting guys

too bad i had to bail like that

my wifes dad is still on a ventilator, he actually was in card. arrest for bout 5 min.
it doesnt look too good for him

and that 209 didnt look too good for me, I dont like the TX rested very much, she jumps alot

I will try to refine my rest setup and hold with the gun for the next match.

What I really want to do is build a dedicated BR gun for unlimited class in .22
prolly off a B50, something I dont have to juggle with FT.

Craig,
Hope your father in law is on the mend. You were gone before I could return your money. Will catch up at the next shoot.
Your welcome to use either of my rapids at any shoot. Hope I can get them shooting better!
Paul

Craig,

It took me till late in the 2nd round to find a grip that worked good enough to hit the 220's with that CFX lol. I'm sure you won't take as long to get that AA200 squared away.
Sorry about your father-in-law hope things get better!

See you at the next match! I 'll try to remember to bring the QB-78's.

Norm

Dave and Doug, congrats on your 250's and to everyone else, it looks like the scores are going to continue to get better, and I'm very happy for you all, especially you Dave. Keep up the awesome shooting, and thanks Dave for the pictures.

Congrats Len also on your 242, great shooting and new record, which is going to be tough to match.

It's nice to see folks having fun shooting these rifles and sharing their enthusiasm.

Take Care,
Joe

Good shooting Doug, Dave, Len and the rest of the shooters at Holbrook. I'm looking forward to trying out my Walther LGR and Rapid indoors with you once the IR50/50 season winds down in a month or so.
Todd

Craig, we all hope that your father-in-law is doing better.

Joe, thanks for your congrat's. As you know, it's been a long and frustrating road. But, it appears that I may be over all the major bumps now.

One thing that Paul didn't mention, and I'm guessing it was because of us all having become so accustomed to it, is that Doug's shot that 250-7X off of his trusty SCISSORS-JACK STAND!!!!!!     Man, oh man, if this guy were a mechanic, I'd send him all my work! :D :D :D
