DAN BROWN 1499 out of 1500 with 107 X WOW!

Real Cold day for Spring!
Todd and Rick couldn't make the shoot along with Mark. Hope they can shoot the UK Postal Match at Salem next weekend.
Tough conditions at Holbrook as the second range was used all day! Also several people were working on the Handicap elevator while we were shooting.
Dan left the door wide open for others to win a medal on his first target, dropping a point as he was shooting the Postal match with his first three targets! His second three targets didn't drop a point and even got 24X on one.

Bill day missed target 25 on his third postal target but had a nice X on the sighter!!

I shot the first target with my World Rejects AA 8.4 target 2 and 3 with New JSB 8.4 and 7.9
Saving the rest of my AA rejects for the Salem NY Region shoot!

Thanks for coming!

Slow down, ok?

Paul,
You and the boys need to slow it down over the next month, ok? You'll discourage other clubs. 24X?!!

Thank you Paul for running another great Indoor match, and enjoy your Texas vacation.

But Paul only told part of the story.

Take another look at Dan's postal score, a 749-54X, a score that most of us would die for. Now think about the fact that he had felt he did poorly enough to need to make a small adjustment to his gun. And why not as he did drop a point, and the second set of targets were only a practice and tuning session for him. So what does he do? He makes some super minor adjustment to his barrel and follows that up with a 250 24X target. Goes to show how much I know.

Congratulations Dan! You are still the Man when it comes to thinking outside of the box and knowing exactly what to do in times of adversity.

Glad I was there to witness it, but all those camera flashes were a bit distracting. :D :D By the way, are you planning on sharing those through-the-scope photos with us?

Thanks Dave, and thank you Paul for running the match. I tried my new pellet sorting method for this shoot. The last two targets were with the unsorted pellets. So far the tests have been positive, I'll post a pic soon of the air gauging apparatus.

Boy that’s close Dan, tough old game this target shooting.

If you swap your first card around from each session, 750 61x – that would have been, quite frankly, incredible.

Paul, don’t forget to send the scores in before you head off to the sunshine

Hang tough Rick. I’m very much looking forward to meeting up with you and the rest of the guys later this year.

54X Is Special

Great shooting by all and a 54X is special, 2 new records at one match. As usual, the Holbrook crowd has set the bar very high. The Salem and Wild River bunch need to bring their best. Good luck.
