The indoor range has an elevator being installed so will have to go back to 25 Yards. Not sure if 5 or 6 benches. Have 700 AGBR targets and only a handfull of World targets. If I don't get some printed will use AGBR targets.
We have the range from 12- 4:00 so for $5.00 come and join us. Bring what you have or I can set you up with a gun, rest, and pellets.

Paul,

As I had told you I will have to miss this one. Too bad to because there's a whole lot of practice needed between now and the Worlds. Oh well! Guess I'll just have to do that on my own time.

Only 3 shooters.
Norm had his new .177 Theoben with Reg, quick fill and gauge. After he sighted in we shot 3 world targets.
Al Joly took the 1st card with a 249 13X I came in second 249 10X and Norm came in third with a 240 3X.

Al took the second card with a 246 14X, I came in second 245 9X and norm 244 4X.

I took the third card 250 16X, Al second with a 246 13X and Norm 241 6X for third

Total Agg. Paul took first 744 35X, AL second 741 40X and Norm third 725 13X.

Because of the 4 th of July weekend. The July 2 shoot will be cancelled.

See you in September.

Nice shooting guys. What gun did you use Paul? How do you like the rapid Norm?
Dan

Dan,

Rapid is very nice! It just arrived Friday night so I had just put the scope on Sat morning and headed to to the match. We pulled a few patches through it and I got it roughly sighted in and started shooting. I had a couple issues, my front rest (the caldwell) was a little loose and I had the target stock bag vs the bottle bag on it. I also have something going on with my hands as (they keep going a little numb like when you ride a motorcycle) that makes a smooth trigger pull a little difficult.
Back to the gun and off the excuses:
It's a .177 with a regulator and the new quickfill they offer. It has a gauge that you look at from the top of the gun vs built into the stock bottom like most mfg's, no idea why it's not other than then not wanting to weaken the stock? It has a 500 cc bottle and the qf is in the stock bottom but is just a plain hole no fancy brass liner. I need to shoot it a lot more over the summer and hopefully be ready to shoot with you guys this fall after you get back from the Worlds!

I think with a stable stock and a stable front rest it will become a real shooter.

Good luck in South Carolina and congrats!

PS Paul didn't mention he was shooting a 12 ft pd gun and I was shooting a around 19 ft lbs and Al a FAC.22 FX Royale. Paul shot the last card 250 15x!! after using a few of my magic cleaning pellets.

Dan,
Just got back from Maine. No internet access. Did have a 3 inch plate for front rest. When will you get the AA EV-2? I have a couple of male foster to female BPSS that fit the AA fill thing. If you need one give me your mail address.
