Great job on the article! I met Hoke years ago, and he's a fine fellow and great writer as well. As Fred said "A true southern gentleman, and excellet shooter too. I always enjoy talking with him whenever I get the chance. Well done.

I've only know Hoke through his writings, plus through what contact I've had with him on this board, and it's been obvious that he is exactly what you guys say he is. In fact, one of my greatest hopes has been to shoot with Hoke sometime before either of us reach that day when it comes time to reconsider.
I may be wrong, but I think we may have both been at the same IR 50/50 Nationals once, only I didn't find out about it until after the fact. Otherwise, I sure would have at least said hello to him, that's for sure, as there's no man in rimfire who I respect more than Hoke Kerns.
And Steve, that was a nice write-up!
