It happened when another site updated their software & some feature changed. As a result, I figured why enter the site then search for new posts when I could invoke the search command on entry? It works on every site I'm currently interested in but not this one. Each search request is unique & appears to increment each time it's invoked as:

http://benchrest.com/search.php?searchid=987925
In this instance, as I didn't tag the mail as read, both called the same new piece of mail. If I do mark the mail as read, it still shows that list, but with that parenthesis about not having been read but with new content.
I'm not being critical; I'm just intrigued to know what software exclusiveness necessitates unique mail search commands.
