Herman Schmidt Grindit for Barrel Indexing/fluting?

Gentlemen,
I'm looking for an indexing fixture for my Bridgeport/Hardinge Series 1 knee mill to use for barrel fluting. Is there a better unit available for this task than the Hermann Schmidt Rotary Spin Fixture? Very much open to alternate suggestions. Your input would be greatly appreciatetd...

Matt you can buy another mill for that price. Sides' that is a grinding fixture, much more accuracy than needed for barrel fluting.

Something like;

You get the idea.

I use a cheap 5C collet spinner that I made a matching center for. No need to spend more than a couple of hundred dollars for the whole setup including the intermediate barrel supports. You can make most of it yourself.

Call me.

Putting that on a Bridgeport is sacriligious. Even if it were a brand new Bridgeport.
Get one of the cheap indexers as mentioned by Dave Tooley. But you can buy Herman's Spinner for your surface grinder. Sure wish that I had one.
I'd be happy with a Harig even w/o a motor.

Enco for around $300.00 with tail stock. Copy of the Hardinge indexing fixture. More than enough for fluting.
